But it reminds me that October is nigh, and Halloween, which tends to be very big around Los Angeles, which is a pretty costume-y, fantasy-driven place all year 'round. But come October these movie-worthy haunted houses spring up, courtesy, in large part, of people who work in the movies. So, yeah: They're scary.
