It's the dog days of summer 'round where I live, so, yeah, I'm roasty and prone to lolling. How are you doing? Hot where you are? Or are you in winter right now? Please throw a snowball for me, if so.
I wanted to check in and say THANK YOU -- all capitals -- for your wonderful comments and emails and hellos. This has been my favorite part of this process, meeting interesting people. (Second favorite part? Rewriting any scene involving forearms and dip. Uh, that sounds weird, but I'm leaving it.)
When my favorite blogs ask us readers "what would you like to see?" my eyes tend to glaze over and I blankly scratch my chin. I won't put that to you, but if there is something you want more of in this space, I'm happy to oblige.
