The Lady in Sequins is the possibly fake or possibly not ghost of The Wilfair Hotel.
I picture her as being in '30s or '40s fancy dress. Ghosts are often portrayed as being a bit tatty, and in rags, and in Victorian garb. I wanted a very glamorous spirit who was a bit more modern. Maybe even had a touch of the movie star to her.
The Queen Mary in Long Beach puts on a haunted attraction every year, and I noticed this year they're featuring a spook who is very Lady-in-Sequins-y, in my mind. Glam but ghoulish.
The historic ocean-liner is also one of the inspirations for The Wilfair's Art Deco floor, which happens to be the floor where the Finley family suite is located.
