Holiday surprises? I adore them.
I've had a few this week, but one that turned my heart into a sticky peppermint candy coated with merry feelings was hearing from reader Ginny. Turns out Mr. Ginny (Ginny, will your kind hubs mind me being so informal here? Hope not.) surprised Ginny with a puppy a couple of days before Christmas.
His new first name? Buddy. And his middle name? Montgomery.
Oh please. You know I completely puddled over this revelation. Still puddling.
Ginny sent me some sweet pics, including one with her pretty self and one with Buddy doglaxin' on the couch with his brother Rowdy. (Another great name.)
Buddy has some major ear action going on! The ears always get me. I know for a fact that both Overboves have cute ears, so maybe cute ears are a trait among those men who have Montgomery in their names.
(Also, Buddy Montgomery IS wearing a necktie-emblazoned shirt in photo #2. I have to stop typing now lest my sticky peppermint candy heart grow too hot and melt.)
