The Metro D Line rail system has extended to the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue, with a grand May 8, 2026 opening.
This important transportation project has been years in the making. How happy I am to see this beloved intersection in the spotlight! Even the La Brea Tar Pits' own Smilodon Fatalis, with his big teeth and furry mug, showed to the kick-off party.
I know what Fair and Gomery are doing today: Riding Metro and exploring beautiful Los Angeles.
